English version

From the outset, we needed to understand the terroir and select the right blends of grape varieties to create a range of wines that would meet our ideals. Our constant concern has been to express the terroir while guiding it towards elegance, complexity, freshness and persistence. The goal is to create different yet complementary styles that can be enjoyed in a wide range of contexts.

FELGARIA

FAUGÈRES
GRAND TERROIR DE SCHISTE

FELGARIA, une recherche d’esthète, pour un grand vin de garde.
Felgaria is the result of a purist’s aesthetic search to showcase the few grapes from the winery’s Mourvèdre vines, blended with carefully selected varieties that bring out its best. Felgaria can be enjoyed when young but is also a wine with a great future (+10 years).

This racy, sexy wine will accompany festive occasions, and is ideally served with wild-fowl (pheasant), pigeon or beef.
« One of the most impressive wines in the appellation. Hard to resist now.
Don’t miss it! »

Jeb Dunnuck, The Wine Advocate

GRAND TERROIR DE SCHISTE

LES BANCÈLS, référence de Faugères
Les Bancèls is harmonious and fresh, yet full and complex, with four different grape varieties, the smoothness provided by the schist terroir, and a persistence that ranks it among the best wines of Faugères and beyond.

Les Bancèls pairs with grilled red meats, game, mushroom risotto.
« I discovered a wine that made me swoon: Domaine de Cébène’s Faugères ‘Les Bancèls’ »

GRAND TERROIR DE SCHISTE

Belle Lurette, Viticultural and cultural heritage.

Sponsor a vine
Belle Lurette is a later arrival, following an extraordinary acquisition of nearly 100-year-old Carignan vines. This wine is characterised by the original expression of these old vines, which dominate the blend with their strong personality and whose prominence allows them to reveal their story.

It is a warm invitation to accompany all sorts of gourmet food, grilled pork with sage, game, cassoulet with preserved duck...
« Incredibly savoury again – This seems a signature of the estate. »
